BMW sells Husqvarna to KTM CEO Stefan Pierer


This is a little confusing. BMW sold Husqvarna, the Swedish born company, to Pierer Industries which is owned by Stefan Pierer, the current president of KTM. But Pierer is the majority shareholder of India's Bajaj Automotive, which owns a little over 47% of Cross Industries. And Cross Industries is the parent company of KTM.
 

Spyker will introduce their 911 rival in Geneva


For the last few years Spyker was busy trying to save Saab, something that they unfortunately failed to do, and haven't really invested in their own supercar business, but now according to De Telegraaf the Dutch company will present a sports car that is both cheaper and smaller in comparison to the C8 Aileron.

This award does not have the importance of the AutoMonthly Car Of The Year award (cof cof), but i still think it deserves a little attention because in the end over sixty automotive journalists from all over the world are going to decide the winners on several categories.

The Saab 9-3 that will never be


Recently you read here that the National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), owned by the Chinese company NME Holdings Ltd., saved Saab from bankruptcy and now decided to continue the fabrication of the 9-3, and now some pictures of what the future 9-3 could have been showed up.

Two new renders of the future Peugeot 308


The French magazine Autoplus also revealed in their latest edition two new renders of what the future Peugeot 308 could look like, based on several spy shots that appeared online in recent weeks. The car has some details reminiscent of the Volkswagen Golf, which is a good thing because the German car is the one to follow due to its success.

2014 Citroen C4 Picasso caught naked in the road


French magazine Autoplus showed images of the new Citroen C4 Picasso in its weekly magazine which goes on sale next week. We already saw the back of the car, but now we can see the front in a blurry screen shot taken from the magazines website.

Nissan reveals the 370Z Nismo for the European market


Nissan surprised everyone by showing the Nismo version of the 370Z during the official presentation of the European Juke Nismo that took place in Barcelona. The new 370Z will be sold starting from July.

Toyota teases the FT-86 Open concept


Toyota will present this concept at the Geneva Motor Show to assess the public's reaction to the convertible version of the GT-86. From what we can see it will keep four seats but we don't know if it will come with a soft-top or a hard-top.

Wunderlich “MadUSA”. Built from a BMW S1000RR


Wunderlich, which is the American distributor for German aftermarket parts, joined BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco to create this amazing beast. And why is it called "MadUSA" (pictured above)? Wunderlich first created the Mad Max (pictured below), which had Continental TKC 80, in Germany, but to sell it in the States they kept the Mad and added the USA for an obvious reason.
