First official images of the Opel Monza Concept appear online [Updated]

Our good friends from Russia did it again. For the hundredth time they reveal the official images of a car before its official presentation. This time its the Opel (or if you prefer, Vauxhall) Monza that got to be leaked ahead of its official reveal which was scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

This concept has one official objective, to show the new design direction the German brand will follow, with the exception of the gigantic doors, of course, and possibly the interior, since it is too futuristic. We will have to wait and see.

Another relevant aspect is the station wagon look of the Monza. I was expecting to see a coupe or possibly a fastback body style, like the model from the 80s, but instead we have something that is very close to a station wagon.

[Update] Opel has finally revealed a few more details. It has 4690mm in length, 1310mm in height, and has a boot with 500 liters. Powering this concept is a tri-cylinder 1.0-liter turbo SIDI engine (uses natural gas) that powers a few electric engines.
