The new Ssangyong Korando C doesn't look that bad

Gone are the times when Ssangyong made the ugliest cars you could find on the road, and the latest Korando is a proof of that, still keeping in mind concepts shown by the South Korean company like the SIV-1 and the LIV-1. The Korando C features several exterior and interior modifications, resulting in a better looking vehicle.

The front has redesigned headlamps that now includes LED daytime running lights(DRL), new bumper and front grille. At the rear, we see that fewer changes were made, still the rear lights and tailgate suffered a few improvements.

Inside, we see a complete revolution, only the steering wheel and instrument panel are carried over from the previous model, everything else is new. The new design gives the interior a more modern look, while the new materials used seem to be more pleasant to the touch. It can also come with a 7-inch touchscreen to be used with the navigation system and an Infinity by Harman sound system.

The Korando is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that is available with two power levels; 151PS (111kW or 149bhp) and 177PS (131kW or 175bhp). This engine can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. The front-wheel drive is standard but you can choose to have an all-wheel drive Korando.
