Nissan updates the Sylphy aka Sentra for the Chinese market

You probably haven't heard the name Sylphy but the name Sentra might be better known to Western ears. Basically, they are the same car with the necessary modifications so that they can be sold in their respective markets. The fourth generation was launched in 2019 and Nissan thought it was time to renew the image of its sedan.

The Nissan Sylphy's new design includes a more modern and aggressive front fascia, for both the petrol and e-power versions, with a larger grille and a redesigned front bumper. The rear of the car also features a revised bumper giving it a sportier look overall. New colors and wheels are also available for the updated models.

Inside, the changes occurred only in the screen area of the infotainment system with update controls.

Engine choices remain the same. There's a naturally aspirated 1,6 liter unit for the "regular" Sylphy and 1,2 liter engine acting as a generator the for the electric motor connected to the front wheels of the e-Power model.
