Alpine A110 San Remo 73 recalls the brand's past in rallying.

For those of you who didn't know, the French brand had a glorious past in several rally races in the late 60's and early 70's. To celebrate these bygone victories, Alpine has released several special limited editions.

The latest edition aims to remember and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory in San Remo in October 1973. And to celebrate, Alpine has taken the current version of the A110 with 300PS and painted it in Original Caddy Blue colour, with black painted roof arches and red carbon roof as a way of reinterpreting the legendary livery of the historic 1973 Berlinette. The exterior is also complemented with 18inch Grand Prix Brilliant Blanc wheels, Anthracite Brembo® brake callipers, black front light booms and Alpine Black emblems and monograms.

Inside, a microfiber cockpit with grey stitching, Sabelt® Racing one-piece bucket seats embroidered with a "World Champion 73" theme and a six-point racing harness make it more special. Standard equipment include a high-performance brake system, active sports exhaust, electric retractable door mirrors and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, rear and front parking assistance, a reversing camera, as well as a Focal Audio system and Alpine Telemetrics.

Worldwide, only 200 units will be available (and each one will feature a 'Limited Edition A110 San Remo 73' number plaque), with a price starting at €89.000 in France. Sales begin March 17th.
