BMW teases the eighth generation of the BMW 5 Series

BMW presented during its annual group conference more information about the eighth generation 5 Series, including some details about new hybrid and all-electric versions along with this teaser.

This new model will be available in purely electric versions, plug-in hybrids and mild hybrids (48V) with gasoline and diesel engines. In addition, we will have an all-electric M sports version called the BMW i4 M50 (confusing that the 5 Series full electric version is called the i4..). The sedan version will be available this year while the Touring will arrive in 2024.

We know nothing about the interior of this model other than what it will come with BMW Operating System 8.5 with BMW Curved Display and innovative digital services.

Production will start at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing in October. An official release is expected for the next weeks.
