Volkswagen has recently unveiled a facelifted version of their popular electric car, the ID3. The ID3 was first introduced in 2019 and has since become a best-seller in the electric car market. The facelifted version of the ID3 features some significant upgrades to its exterior and interior, making it an even more attractive option for electric car buyers.
The most noticeable change to the facelifted ID3 is its new front bumper and hood. The previous model had a smaller hood but the new version features a larger, more prominent hood. The new face gives the ID3 a more aggressive and sporty look, while also improving aerodynamics with an active shutter system and air curtains.
Other changes to the exterior include new LED taillights with a sharper design, as well as a redesigned bumper. The overall effect is a car that looks more modern and sophisticated, with a more premium feel than the previous model.
Inside the ID3, Volkswagen has made some changes to improve comfort and convenience. The most significant change is the addition of a new infotainment system, which is now available with a larger 12-inch touchscreen display. The new system is more intuitive and user-friendly, with improved voice recognition and a faster response time.
Volkswagen has also made some changes to the seating, with new upholsteries and colours available (part made from recycled materials), and new interior door panels with improved armrests. The ID3 now offers more customization options for the interior with higher quality materials, allowing buyers to create a car that reflects their personal style.
Mechanically, or if you like, electrically, there were no major changes. Deliveries begin at the end of the year.
