Mitsubishi unveils XRT concept car that will lead to the sixth generation of Triton/Strada/L200

During the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show 2023, that starts today and will close its doors on April 2, Mitsubishi will show the XRT Concept. This midsize pickup truck, that should arrive later this year, is the clear replacement of the current fifth-generation Triton/Strada/L200.

According to Mitsubishi, the XRT is intended to have a rougher, stronger and more robust image. This is underscored by the brand new lines that distinguish this concept. To help give this image we have a camouflage inspired by volcanic rocks.

To help promote the launch of this pickup, Mitsubishi, with the assistance of Team Mitsubishi Ralliart, will run a prototype cross-country model of the all-new Triton/Strada/L200 (Group T1 specifications) at the Asia Cross Country Rally 2023.

The first total redesign in 9 years will be available later this year in Thailand, followed by other Asian markets. Later, it will be available in the Oceania region and then in other world markets.
