The eagerly awaited Alfa Romeo 4C is schedule to debut at the NAIAS in Detroit next month and the car keeps getting caught, even if it is heavily camouflaged, testing in Italy.
According to WCF the chassis will be made of carbon fiber, plastic and aluminum weighing only 850kg (1.874lbs). The engine will be the 1750cc, 4-cylinder direct-injection, turbo with over 200hp (149 kW) mounted centrally in the structure and connected to Alfa's TCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Supposedly will do a 0 to 100km/h (0 to 62mph) in less than 5 seconds and will ahve a top speed limited to 250km/h (155mph). Sales in Europe will start in 2013 and in the USA in 2014.
