With the second generation Meriva reaching half of its lifetime, Opel decided to slightly freshen the look of it and add a few new things. The most obvious change happens at the front. It now features a new face, similar to the one premiered with the Insignia, with a larger chromed front grille and a new design for the lights with LED technology.

We already saw the facelifted Insignia, but the sportier variant had not yet been revealed. I am talking about the OPC. Besides the exterior modifications, the Insignia OPC also gains an improved chassis with special focus on the rear axle, a new ESP, modified damper software for better handling and comfort (FlexRide chassis), and the noise and vibration behavior is improved.

Our good friends from Russia did it again. For the hundredth time they reveal the official images of a car before its official presentation. This time its the Opel (or if you prefer, Vauxhall) Monza that got to be leaked ahead of its official reveal which was scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

Opel must have thought we forgot about their new concept, the Opel Monza, and decided to share a clearer picture of that vehicle together with a weird press release where they brag about being the first European car manufacturer to show a concept car at the 1965 Frankfurt Motor Show, and that car was the Experimental GT, which in turn gave birth to the Opel GT.

The Opel Monza, which was the coupe version of the Senator, was built in the 70 and 80s, and achieved a large success. Today, Opel teased for the first time the Opel Monza concept, a car that shows us the evolution of the German brand design philosophy, and still has a few similarities between them, such as their large, glazed surfaces and low belt-line.

Opel has put the finishing touches on the Insignia Country Tourer and introduced it to the world today. The public presentation, on the other hand, is scheduled to take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, with prices and equipment details being revealed together with the world premiere in Frankfurt.

What you have here is the new Opel Insignia that will have its world premiere at the 65th Frankfurt Motor Show which will begin on September 12. The look of the car was already known, since we had already seen the Buick Regal which is basically the brother of the Insignia, but the German car manufacturer made many substantial changes to the cars interior and engine lineup.

The Geneva Motor Show will see the world premiere of the Opel Cascada, the German brands new four-seater convertible. The name Cascada comes from the Spanish word meaning waterfall, conveying "a rhythmic, dynamic and flowing elegance, beauty, freshness and pure pleasure for open-air driving".
Opel/Vauxhall Adam Crossover will add the name Rocks
Yesterday, we found out that Opel/Vauxhall was planning a cabriolet version of the Adam, and today the German company revealed a few sketches of the parkour-inpired concept called ADAM ROCKS that will have fabric retractable roof.
Opel confirms development of a cabriolet version of the Adam
The confirmation was done by a "senior source" within Opel/Vauxhall and comes after several reports pointing to a rival for the Citroën DS3 Cabrio and Fiat 500C. Not much is known but according to autocar the new cabriolet will get a "pram-style electric folding roof".
Le Monde says Peugeot-Citroen will buy Opel, GM denies it
The French newspaper, Le Monde, claims that the French government was planning the movements necessary to buy Opel. This idea is not entirely unreasonable, GM wants to get rid of Opel, which only gives prejudice. and PSA would have access to new technical skills and their "German" position in market share.
