Launched in 2019, Hyundai felt it was time to refresh its small city car. In addition to the new look, the South Korean brand has also decided to add new features and technologies to its smallest model while maintaining its main points, such as its reliability and practicality.
Both the normal version and the sports variant, N, have new bumpers with a sportier design. Inside, we see some improvements and new options. One of these is a new optional package called Purple Package. It includes tartan fabric seats with vertical purple lines plus other purple accents throughout the interior. The i10 N adds red accents to all this and a set of new 16-inch wheels.
In terms of technological improvements there is a new 4.2-inch LCD cluster, USB type-C in the front and rear, second-generation eCall based on the 4G network, and Over The Air (OTA) map updates, while keeping the same 8‑inch display screen, Audio Video Navigation (AVN), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, and an updated Bluelink® telematics.
Now standard are many safety features as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist and Rear Occupant Alert. If you choose to purchase this little car, be sure that it will include other amenities such as power folding mirrors, a boot capacity of 252 liters with the seats up and 1,050 liters with seats folded, a two-stage luggage board, one-handed rear seat folding and a rear-view camera.
Still not convinced? Production is planned to begin in April 2023 at Hyundai’s production plant in Izmit, Türkiye. Deliveries will start in Europe in the second half of the year.
