Suzuki finally revealed the first images of the new European Grand Vitara, which is almost equal to the Escudo, the Japanese version of the small SUV.
On the outside we find new bumpers, a redesigned grille with a decorative chrome bar at the bottom, new 17inch or 18inch alloy wheels, and new colors to choose from. The headlamps remain unchanged. The spare wheel is now mounted on the rear door of the Grand Vitara, so now the five door models grow in length by 200mm and 170mm for the three door models.

The interior remains basically the same, with new design seat trims, while the 5 door models are now equipped with a 6.1inch touchscreen Color Navigation System provided by Garmin.
For the engines choices we have an 1.6liter (three door model) with 106hp, and an 2.4liter (three or five door model) gasoline engine with 167hp and an 1.9liter (five door version) diesel engine that develops 129hp. They all have as standard a five speed manual gearbox, while that 2.4 liter engine can be ordered with a four speed automatic transmission.
