Although not incredibly beautiful we have seen worse things to come out of Russia. Production started recently and in the first two weeks of sales, the Russian company already had over one thousand orders, which is pretty decent.
The Aquila, for now, has a 16v 1.6liter engine producing 107hp mated to a five-speed gearbox, but TAGAZ will later offer several more powerful versions with over 150hp together with an automatic transmission.
And for a price of 415.000 rubles, about €10.265, you get a lot. As standard you have air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, ABS, airbag for the driver and a good sound system, even if the interior looks like it was made in the 90's. But you won't be able to buy this car unless you live in Russia or in some frontier markets.
