The Spanish brand had announced that it would present this new version of the Seat Leon tomorrow, July 23, but as usual, the first images appeared one day before, spoiling the surprise or possibly creating a bigger excitement. Nothing much is known but the ST (sports tourer) version of the Leon looks better than I thought.
The new Leon ST is based on the Golf Variant/Jetta Sportwagen, since it uses the same platform, but the exterior has a sportier look. Rumors point for a length of 4540mm, meaning it is 270mm longer than the regular Leon version, and has a boot with room for 587 liters or 1470 liters with the back seats folded.
The engine choices should be the same as those found in the hatchback, but that will soon be confirmed by Seat. Below you can see pictures of the regular ST in a lighter gray and the ST FR with a darker shade.
