A few days ago, i showed you an image of the rear of the alleged Mazda 3 sedan. Moments ago several pictures of that car appeared in the Russian Top Gear website proving that the image was real. As expected, the only differences are in the rear section of this sedan, which is longer.
The interior will be will be the same as the one in the hatchback, and the same applies to the engine choices. One very likely possibility is that the sedan will have a larger boot. The weight may also be slightly increased.
If you do not remember the engine choices, they include one diesel engine; a 2.2-liter engine that generates 150PS (110kW or 148bhp), and three petrol engines; a 100PS (75kW or 99bhp) 1.5-liter, and two 2.0-liter units, one has 120PS (85kW or 118bhp) and the other 165PS (121kW or 163bhp).
