2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 R ABS looks good.

Considered to be one of the most fun and exciting naked motorcycles in the world, Aprilia decided improve the magic formula a little bit more. The new Tuono V4 R ABS features several improvements also found on the top of the range RSV4 Factory ABS and RSV4 R ABS.

It has a twin spar frame made with cast and pressed elements in brushed aluminum that involves perfectly the 65 degree V4 engine. This engine generates 170PS (125kW or 168bhp) @11,500rpm and 115.5Nm (85lb/ft) for torque @9,500rpm. That is a loth for a bike that just weighs 185kg (408lbs).

To help control all that power, Aprilia fitted the Tuono V4 R ABS will several electronic aids included in the aPRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). The aPRC system comprises the aTC (Aprilia Traction Control) with 8 different levels, aWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control) with 3 settings, aLC (Aprilia Launch Control) also with 3 separate settings, and the aQS (Aprilia Quick Shift).

Most of the improvements were made to the front of this bike. It now has a new 43mm upside down Sachs fork, and Brembo M432 monoblock calipers surrounding 320mm steel discs. The braking system is partly controlled by the ABS anti-lock wheel system co-developed with Bosch, with three settings; Track, Sport and Rain.

Price in Italy, around €16,000 ($21,100 or £13,800)
