The facelifted Chevrolet Camaro isn't really new, we already saw it here, but it is now time to show it to the European public at the Frankfurt Motor Show, next month. Both the coupe and convertible will make its way to Germany with their low and sleek profiles, and redesigned front and rear.
The new front end includes a larger lower grille and a smaller upper grille. The headlamps are also smaller and sleeker. At the back, we see a reshaped trunk lid, new tail lights and diffuser.
Moving on to the inside, Chevrolet fitted the European Camaro with the new MyLink connected radio. The improved infotainment system includes a seven-inch touch screen, USB, Bluetooth, aux-in, voice recognition, and use it in conjuction with the standard rear-view camera. The coupe is available with leather Recaro sport bucket seats.
Chevrolet only announced one petrol engine. The 6.2-liter unit can be mated to a manual or automatic transmission. It generates 432PS (318kW or 426bhp) and 569Nm (520lb/ft) of torque. When used with the manual gearbox, the coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 5.2 seconds, while the convertible needs 5.4 seconds.
