What better way to promote a vehicle than put a new paint on it and call it a special version. That's basically what "Ram" did with the 1500, painted it yellow and added a few black stripes, and calls it the Rumble Bee Concept with the inspiration coming from the Super Bee muscle car of the late 60s.
But the story of the Rumble Bee began 10 years ago with first model inspired by the Super Bee. Today Ram Trucks is also celebrating that date with this new Rumble Bee. Besides the yellow and black paint, RAM also added 24-inch black wheels and lowered the car by 5cm (2 inches)
As I said before, the Rumble Bee is based on the 1500, and in particular in the R/T version, meaning it comes with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that generates 401PS (395bhp or 295kW) and 552Nm (407lb/ft) of torque. Transferring the engine's power to the rear wheels, we have a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
