The next edition of the Tokyo Motor Show will take place from November 23 to December 1, and promises to be a exciting one. With well over a month to its beginning, Mitsubishi started to reveal a little of what is going to bring to this Motor Show, and from what we can see in these teasers, it looks good.
First, we have the MITSUBISHI Concept GC-PHEV (GC stands for Grand Cruiser), a vehicle that looks to be the replacement for the Pajero. This large SUV features a high output version of the PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) system and MMC's (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation) S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) integrated vehicle dynamic control system.
Next in the line is the MITSUBISHI Concept XR-PHEV (X over Runner). This is a compact SUV that also uses the PHEV system and promises to deliver nimble drivability and a body style resembling a sport coupe, while still being environmentally friendly.
To finish, Mitsubishi also announced the Concept AR (Active Runabout). It's a compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that according to the Japanese car manufacturer, offers both the mobility of an SUV and the occupant space of an MPV. Unlike the other concepts, it is equipped with a downsized direct-injection turbocharged engine.
We will know more next month, so stay tuned.
