Hyundai teases another new vehicle, this time it's the Verna/Accent

Hyundai is preparing to give a major overhaul to its small sedan and it seems that the official page of Hyundai in India revealed a little more than would be desired, since the official presentation is scheduled for the 21st of March. Or we can consider that they are just more revealing teasers.

Anyway, we now have a more complete overview of the Hyundai Verna, which is how it is known in India. (in other parts of the world it uses the Accent name). With design solutions inspired by others present in higher segments, Hyundai gives a much more modern and dynamic look to its small sedan.

At the front we have a full-width LED (DRL) and a split headlamp setup. The bumper seems massive with a very aggressive look. At the rear of this car, we also have a LED light that goes from one side of the car to the other, giving it a very modern look. Still , take in consideration the teaser is probably revealing one the top trims among the four available at launch.

Inside, we will have several novelties, such as a 10.25" navigation system, a digital instrument panel, a BOSE sound system with 8 speakers and a dual control that will serve for the air conditioning and the infotainment system.

The all-new Hyundai VERNA comes with a 1.5liter Turbo GDi Petrol engine with 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) or a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (7DCT). It will also be available with 1.5liter MPi Petrol engine that comes with 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

With the launch planned for the 21st, this new competitor to Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia is preparing to conquer the Indian market.
