This is the production version of the Honda Micro Commuter that was introduced in the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. With 2,50m long, 1,25m wide and 1,45m tall, this is a vehicle developed for the urban environment
The Honda Micro Commuter seems to be targeted at the Renault Twizy, with a lithium ions battery that gives a maximum range of 59 km/h, it reaches a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The battery is full after just 3 hours of charging.
It has a central driving position and room for 2 children in the back. All the commands and the instrument panel are replaced by a tablet. Testing it set to begin in 2013 and will use the new Variable Design Platform allowing the use of different types of
bodies.
