Sportier Honda CR-Z

Honda Performance Division (HPD) was responsible for bringing to this years SEMA show in Las Vegas a upgraded version of the Honda CR-Z Hybrid, which we all know lacks a lot of power that even the special versions made by Mugen, Honda's in house tuner, for some specific markets like Japan and Great Britain couldn't satisfy the hardcore fans.

This model's 1.5liter petrol engine with the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) gains 63bhp in power and 56Nm in torque, from 122bhp and 173nm (128lb/ft) to 185bhp and 229Nm (169lb/ft), respectively.

Improvements run even deeper, with an upgraded sports suspension, new alloy wheels with high performances tires and improvements in the brake system and handling, but Honda hasn't confirmed if they plan to go into production.
