But what is Qoros? It is a brand created in 2007 formerly known as Chery Quantum Auto Company and changed its name in 2011 to Qoros, owned in equal parts by Chery Automobile and Israel Corporation.
Qoros wants to present three models in 2013 and start sales at the same year. They pretend to achieve sales of 450.000 units per year.
This brand was known more recently due to a dispute with Kia because of the name Quoris, which would be the name of the Kia K9 in Europe, because it was too similar to Qoros, so Kia lost in a German court.
