A few years ago Kia and Microsoft joined forces to create the UVO, or "Your Voice", a voice-activated entertainment system that also comes with a 4.3inch touchscreen and allows you to control your vehicle's multimedia and infotainment systems.
But now Google wants a piece of that and will provide some of its applications, such as Maps and Places, to be used on the car touchscreen or on a mobile device. For now this technology is only available in the U.S., but hopefully will soon reach other countries.
