In early April, Mitsubishi revealed at the Bangkok International Motor Show a new concept called G4, which meant Global 4-door sedan. Today, the Japanese company decided to reveal the production version of the G4, and i couldn't be more disappointed about this "next-generation global compact sedan".
Although Mitsubishi says it is a global model, it will be sold in very few countries, beginning with Thailand in July. The weird shape could be justified with the 0.29 drag coefficient, but i still think they could have done something better.
Helping it achieve a fuel consumption of just 4.55 l/100km is the RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body, and a 1.2 liter MIVEC engine (the power and torque figures weren't revealed) connected to a CVT with sub-geartrain or 5-speed manual gearbox.
