Finally, a car manufacturer managed to keep a surprise until its public presentation. Cadillac has just introduced the Elmiraj Concept that is going to be at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this weekend, and aims to be the top of the brand’s range with a "dramatic design" and a strong performance.
This four-seat coupe features a very exclusive and luxurious interior. Inside, you will find camel leather (that is right, camel) and fallen Brazilian Rosewood for the wood trim. The modern instrument panel has an analog tachometer and speedometer, and behind of it is a screen that displays driver information and images of a front-mounted camera. There also a 10-inch touchscreen used for for navigation and connectivity that can be hidden behind the instrument panel.
At the heart of this rear-wheel drive concept that weighs 1814kg (4000lbs) is a 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 507PS (373kW or 500bhp) and 678Nm (500lb/ft) of torque. It has 1397mm (55in) in height, 1930mm (76in) in width and 5207mm (205in) in length. It also features 22-inch aluminum wheels and ceramic brakes.
