The Samsung SM5 already received the facelift, and now it is time to Renault to do the same to its almost twin brother Latitutde, three years after it was first introduced. What you can see here are the first two images of the revamped Latitude which should hit the European market by the end of the year.
The front of the car was the one that suffered the most changes. It now has a smaller grille, redesigned headlamps with LED lighting and a new bumper. The rear also suffered a few changes, but are less obvious. The tail lights also have LED lights and the the trunk kid is new. Renault also created new alloy wheels for the Latitude.
Nothing was revealed about the interior, but it is expected that Renault will make a few changes, one of them should be the addition of the new navigation and sound system, possibly the R-Link.
In Europe you can only choose between several diesel engines, but in South Korea there is now a 1.6-liter TCe with 180PS (178bhp or 132kW) mated to the EDC dual clutch automatic transmission that might arrive in Europe with the facelift.
We will have to wait for the official press release to see what engines will the Latitude have for the 2014 model and what was done to the interior.
