That is right, Toyota thought they should give the Hilux a new grade named Invincible with the "Active" or "Sport" versions, and Extra Cab or Double Cab body styles. We can agree that Toyota builds some of the toughest pickups in the world, but calling it the Hilux Invincible... I don't know.
So what does it make invincible? Not much. The exterior now has a new silver front underguard, chrome air-intake, fog lamp and rear lamp bezels, and "Invincible" door badging, while on the inside we find black fabric seats, a soft padded armrest, a leather handbrake, a light grey roof lining and "Invincible" scuff plates.
If you want you can choose a new hard-top, chrome side bars, new 17” dual-tone alloy wheels and black, full leather seats. Engines options remain the same. There's the 2.5-liter D-4D engine (manual transmission, 2WD or 4WD) and the 3.0-liter D-4D (4WD, manual or automatic).
