The most powerful model of the English brand has a replacement, and it's called 620R. Caterham will have the public reveal in a few days at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate 40 years of developing and building the Seven, an iconic lightweight sportscar, which has become one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world.
Caterham teases a new and cheaper Seven
The Seven is a lightweight, simple, two-seater sports roadster initially produced by Lotus. The rights to build this car were bought by Caterham in 1972, and in 1973 the first Caterham Seven was produced. To celebrate 40 years since the first model rolled out of the production line, the British company will reveal a new, less expensive Seven.
