This was fast. Just a few days ago, Citroen teased the upcoming Citroen DS Wild Rubis concept, previously known as the DSX. These images to have been taken from the official video which will serve to promote this new luxurious compact SUV, and it looks great. The public presentation will take place at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Rumors indicated it will use the platform of the Peugeot 2008, but this is not confirmed, which is strange, since it should compete with the Mercedes GLA, BMW X1 and Audi Q3.
Sales start in 2014 will 2 hybrid versions, one petrol and one diesel and regular diesel engines, with 2x4 and 4x4 versions also available. The production version might be introduced in Frankfurt.
[Update] The concept comes with a 1.6 liter THP engine with 240PS that moves the front wheels, and a electric motor powering the rear wheels, making it an hybrid.Production is only confirmed for the Chinese market, but i could reach Europe if there is interest.
