Since today is the press day at the Shanghai Motor Show, most car manufacturers decided to reveal today their new vehicles, and Acura isn't an exception, showing us for the first time the SUV-X, a SUV developed primarily for the Chinese market, and it is also the first world premiere for the brand that happens outside the USA.
An SUV, due to its size and weight, is not exactly a vehicle that has a low fuel consumption, but Acura says the SUV-X has "the environmental performance of a small vehicle and excellent utility of an SUV". We will have to wait for the production version to comment on that.
The production model derived from this concept will be built in China and should reach the Chinese market within 3 years. Nothnig else was revealed, so we will have to wait until 2016.
