Peugeot is on fire. First they showed the 308 R, then the 3008, after that the 208 Hybrid FE, and now they revealed the facelifted 5008. The biggest changes happened on the front of this compact MPV, which now follows the same design language used by more recent models of the French car manufacturer, like the 208 and 308.
Besides the new front grille, bumper and headlamps, Peugeot slightly modified the tail lights, and now offers new 16- to 18-inch wheels. Inside there are also a few small changes, but the French brand prefers to highlight the head-up display that shows important information to the driver and the two 7-inch screens that can be fitted within the front head restraints which can be used with wireless headphones via bluetooth.
The 5008 can still sit five or seven people, and the engine choices also remain the same. You can choose between several gasoline and diesel engines ranging from a 1.6-liter (petrol and diesel) to a 2.0-liter (diesel) unit. The power figures vary from 121PS (89kW or 119bhp) up to 165PS (121kW or 162bhp).
To finish, Peugeot boasts that the "5008" is one of the vehicles of its segment, with more interior space, adding that the boot has room for 758 liters. But if fold the second row of seats that value increases to an amazing 2506 liters.
