BMW reveals the Concept Ninety, a motorcycle from the past


The division responsible for building motorcycles, BMW Motorrad, celebrates 90 years, and to commemorate that, the German company brought a special model to the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, that was inspired by another model that celebrates 40 years, the BMW R 90 S.

Official: Renault finally reveals the Twin'Run concept, pays homage to the R5 Turbo and Clio V6 [Video]


It seems that this concept is not called Twin'Fun but rather Twin'Run (We already saw it). It was created to celebrate the sporty spirit of the French brand, in addition to paying tribute to the legendary R5 Turbo and Clio V6. The public presentation took place during the Monaco Grand Prix, in front of hundreds of spectators.

Aston Martin shows the CC100 Speedster Concept [Video]


Aston Martin celebrated its centenary with the presentation of this special concept during the ADAC Zurich 24-Hour race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife track, called CC100 Speedster. The car that inspired this one-off concept was the DBR1, one of the most successful racing cars built by the British company.

The presentation of this concept will take place on May 19, during the ADAC Zurich 24-Hour race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife track. Along with this announcement, the British brand has released an image and a video entitled "Past, Present, Future - 19th May 2013".

Lamborghini reveals the Ecosta (Possibly Egoista) concept during the 50th anniversary celebration [Updated]


This was a surprise. The Lamborghini is celebrating 50 years of the brand and decided today to show a concept that is even more radical than the Poison. The name wasn't confirmed, but everyone is calling it the Ecosta, so we will stick with that for now. One thing we know for sure, it will never be produced (thank God).

Skoda creates the Rapid SPORT concept. Brings it to Wörthersee


The Wörthersee meeting was created for those who owned a Volkswagen GTi, but over time, has grown and is now a festival dedicated to the German brand. Seat and Skoda are both owned by Volkswagen, so it isn't unexpected to see those two brands bringing a few new cars to this meeting.

Renault started teasing a new concept. We already saw it.


We already saw a video and a few pictures of the Twin'Fun concept (I am still not sure if the name is Twin'Fun or Twin'Run, but i am sticking with Twin'Fun for now), but it seems Renault has now decided to started teasing this new car, that was first previewed by the Ross Lovegrove concept.

Toyota shows the ME.WE electric concept


Toyota often creates very cool concepts, and the ME.WE, created in conjunction with the Massaud design studio, is no exception. It's a small car shaped like a box, with a simple exterior and interior, made from an aluminum tubular structure, polypropylene panels and bamboo, giving it a weight of just 750kg (1653lbs).

DC Design reveals their special Renault/Dacia Duster


The first teaser promised a lot. It looked so different, but now that we get to see the official pictures, it looks a little bit weird, specially the interior. How much will this cost you? 3.49 Lakhs. 1 lakh equals to 100.000, so this will cost you an extra 349.000 rupees (€4950, $6450 or £4250) over the price of the Duster.

Renault will introduce a concept that joins the F1 with electric cars.


On April 25, Renault will show a new concept that will join the world of Formula 1 with the world of electric cars, creating a new vehicle that will feature, according to the French brand, a "muscular styling and impressive performance credentials". For now we only get to see a teaser.

Volkswagen surprisingly reveals 4Fun Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show


As the title says, Volkswagen surprised us by revealing this new concept, which is a collaborative project between the German and several college students, whose aim was to create the "People's Car" for the Chinese market. The result is a mini-van with gullwing doors.

Icona shows the Vulcano Supercar Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show


The China-based design company, that has roots in the area of Turin, Italy, introduced the Vulcano at the Shanghai Motor Show. This is a car that had an important contribution from Claudio Lombardi, which is the former powertrain technical director of Ferrari and also helped Lancia achieved several World Rally Championship wins.

Hyundai shows the Mistra (Mingtu in Chinese) Concept. Also revealed in Shanghai


The Hyundai Mistra, called Mingtu in China, is a mid-size sedan that will be made in China thanks to the Beijing Hyundai Motor Company join venture. The production version will be revealed later this year aiming to please the young parents of this Asian country.

DongFeng Nissan reveals the VIWA Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show


Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFL-PV) revealed yesterday the small VIWA EV Concept under the VENUCIA brand. VENUCIA sold over seventy thousand vehicles since the introduction of the D50, in April 2012. Today, that brand sells the D50, R50 and the electric car, e30.

Toyota FT-HT Concept unveiled in Shanghai together with the Yaris and Vios for the Chinese market


Toyota used the Shanghai Motor Show to reveal two new concepts, the six-seater Toyota FT-HT Yuejia and the Yundong Shuangqing II, besides the production version of the new Yaris and the Vios. If you are wondering what Yuejia, Yundong and Shuangqing mean, those are coined words in Mandarin Chinese for “happy family”, “movement upon clouds” and “dual support".

Suzuki AUTHENTICS Concept officially revealed in China [Video]


The compact car segment (C-segment) in China is "red hot" with so many new cars being presented. This time it was Suzuki who presented the concept of the car that will compete in this segment. The Japanese company wants to produce and distribute the production model that will be based on the AUTHENTICS concept by the end of 2014.

Acura presents the SUV-X Concept aimed at the Chinese market

Ford brings back the Escort name, puts it in a concept for the Shanghai Motor Show


The Ford Escort was a small family car that had huge success, particularly in several European markets during the 80s and 90s, achieving great popularity among younger drivers due to its more powerful versions, like the RS Cosworth. The Escort moniker was also used in the North American market and in a few other other countries but it was a different model, that never reached the level of the European version. Now it seems Ford is bringing it back.

Buick reveals the Riviera concept at the Shanghai Motor Show


Seems Buick is the first car manufacturer to officially introduce a new car, or in this case a concept, at the Shanghai Motor Show. The North American company brought another view of the concept presented in 2007, also called Riviera, created by GM’s design team from the Pan-Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), which is a design and engineering center in Shanghai, China.
