The GTI meeting at Wörthersee (starts today) is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, festivals dedicated to single, and every year Volkswagen takes this opportunity to show a few more powerful cars. Seat and Skoda, which belong to Volkswagen, already announced they are showing the Leon Cup Racer and the Rapid Sport, and VW just announced they are bringing the Design Vision GTI. Peugeot Portugal will restore a GTI to one lucky owner

If you live in Portugal and you have a Peugeot GTI in dire need of being restored, Peugeot will do this in a completely free way, you just need to participate in a small contest and if you are the winner or GTI will look completely new. The contest is limited to the owners of the GTI version of the 106, 205, 206, 306 or 309.

Volkswagen will also present the Golf GTI in Geneva.

Volkswagen recently announced they were going to publicly display the Golf GTD at the Geneva Motor Show, and today we found out the GTI will also make an appearance in Geneva. The seventh generation Golf will have for the first time a GTI version with two power levels.
