Skoda creates the Rapid SPORT concept. Brings it to Wörthersee


The Wörthersee meeting was created for those who owned a Volkswagen GTi, but over time, has grown and is now a festival dedicated to the German brand. Seat and Skoda are both owned by Volkswagen, so it isn't unexpected to see those two brands bringing a few new cars to this meeting.

Mercedes S-Class revealed as a die-cast model


As with the Mercedes CLA, the S-Class was also revealed in advance as a die-cast model. We already saw a official picture of the large luxurious sedan, but that was a sportier version, possibly the AMG. This time we get an idea of the appearance of the base version of this car.

Seat presents the Leon Cup Racer


The Spanish company, owned by Volkswagen, will bring to the town of Reifnitz on the south bank of the Wörthersee, the new Leon Cup Racer. This new racing car is prepared for several different racing series worldwide, and i am guessing that this is what the new WTCC car will look like when Seat returns to the World Touring Car Championship.

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe gets its patents revealed


All brands patent their designs, and their future cars, in order to protect themselves from other companies copying their design and/or cars. This is what Jaguar did, but someone had access to these patents and thought he should share them with the world, showing the look of the upcoming F-Type Coupe.

Volkswagen celebrates the one millionth Scirocco with a special edition


The Volkswagen Scirocco first appeared in 1974, while the second generation was sold from 1981 to 1992. It was a successful car, with 795,650 vehicles sold, but the third generation only showed up in 2008, and has now reached the one millionth mark. This number is something that deserves to be celebrated, so VW created a special edition that will be sold exclusively in Germany and China.

Ford, together with Schaeffler, is developing a new type of electric vehicle that uses independent electric motors mounted in each of the rear wheels, meaning there is more room, specially under the hood, since the space that was used for the engine and transmission is now available for other uses.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S officially revealed


We have seen many spy pictures of the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo, but only now the German company, that is celebrating 50 years of the 911, and 40 years since the Turbo first appeared, decided to fully reveal the new sports car. The exterior is, of course, similar to the previous model, but underneath this beautiful machine we have many significant changes.

The Lotus Exige S Roadster was revealed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so we knew sooner or later it was going to be produced, but I never thought it would take so long, since only now, Lotus, announced the car will go on sale this summer, but it won't be available in the USA.

Land Rover celebrates 65 years. Creates the Defender LXV Special Edition


The Defender LXV (65 in roman numerals) Special Edition was created to celebrate the brand's 65 years. It all started in 1948 with the "HUE 166", also known as the "Huey". This was the first Series I Land Rover, a vehicle that helped the Brithish company gain recognition for building robust vehicles for all types of terrain.

The Nissan GT-R will get a Nismo version


We suspected that sooner or later Nissan's Motorsport division (Nismo) was going to create a more powerful version of the GT-R, but only now, Nissan's vice-president Andy Palmer confirmed this when he said he recently tested the prototype in Japan, adding that it is the fastest GT-R ever.
