Jaguar will also bring a special car to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Meet the Project 7 [Video]


This special Jaguar F-Type has the name Project 7 as a way to pay homage to Jaguar’s seven Le Mans wins, while its blue paintwork is reminiscent of the victorious D-types of 1956/1957. It is a single-seater one-off design created by the team led by Director of Design, Ian Callum, and could serve to preview the upcoming R version of the F-Type.

Caterham replaces the R500 with the Seven 620R


The most powerful model of the English brand has a replacement, and it's called 620R. Caterham will have the public reveal in a few days at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate 40 years of developing and building the Seven, an iconic lightweight sportscar, which has become one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world.

Could this be the new Skoda Rapid RS?


Back in May, Skoda revealed the Rapid SPORT concept, a car that served to preview the sportier version of the Rapid. Yesterday, Skoda posted in their Facebook page one image teasing a new version of the Rapid, that, most likely, will have its premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Suzuki shows the new Swift 4x4


Suzuki already sells the 4x4 Swift in Japan as well as in several European Countries including Germany and Switzerland, but with the recent facelift, it is time to reveal the updated Swift 4x4 and bring it to the United Kingdom. Sales start this month but you only have one engine option, a 1.2-liter unit mated to a manual transmission.

The Opel Monza, which was the coupe version of the Senator, was built in the 70 and 80s, and achieved a large success. Today, Opel teased for the first time the Opel Monza concept, a car that shows us the evolution of the German brand design philosophy, and still has a few similarities between them, such as their large, glazed surfaces and low belt-line.

Introduced as a concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Jaguar promised they would build 250 units of the C-X75 with a cost of around €1.067.000 (£900.000 or $1.367.000). The production of this supercar car was canceled in December 2012 due to the current" "global economic crisis", but there is hope one day the people at Jaguar change their minds.

A year away from the premiere of the next film in the Transformers series, Paramount Pictures decided it has time to reveal the cars that will participate in the movie. General Motors seems to be the car manufacturer that loans more cars, and in particular one very special Chevrolet Camaro.

Sebastien Loeb destroys the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record with the Peugeot 208 T16 [Video]


The French racing driver needed just 8m13.878sec to completely smash the previous record of 9m46.164sec, set by Rhys Millen last year. The New Zealander driver took almost 44 seconds off his own record, still he ended second, 49 seconds behind the winner (9m02.192sec). Impressive. See the POV video below.

Seems that the image we saw of the 2014 Mazda 3 was real after all


A few days ago, i showed you an image of the rear of the alleged Mazda 3 sedan. Moments ago several pictures of that car appeared in the Russian Top Gear website proving that the image was real. As expected, the only differences are in the rear section of this sedan, which is longer.

BMW wasn't amused with the early reveal of the 2014 Mini. Makes fun of the situation


Two days ago, you saw here for the first time images of the next-generation Mini that were taken during an official photo. Mini, and its parent company, BMW, weren't happy, but they tried to make the best out of this situation, so, a few moments ago, BMW issued a press release comparing what happened to them with what happens to the Royal Family and other "VIPs".
